Awareness Programme on Self-Discipline and Students’ Behaviour

The Career Guidance Cell of the Faculty of Commerce and Management, Eastern University, Sri Lanka, organized an awareness programme titled “Towards a Safer Tomorrow: Awareness on Self-Discipline and Students’ Behaviour” on 22nd August 2025 from 10.45 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

The session was conducted by Rev. Fr. K. Jude Deluxion, who delivered an inspiring and interesting address focusing on the importance of self-discipline, responsible conduct, and positive behavioural practices among students. The programme emphasized how maintaining discipline and integrity not only enhances academic success but also contributes to building a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment.

The interactive session engaged students actively, providing valuable insights into developing personal responsibility and fostering a culture of respect within the university community. The event concluded with a positive note, encouraging students to apply these principles in their academic journey and daily lives for a brighter and safer tomorrow.
