The Faculty of Commerce and Management, through the Faculty Quality Assurance Cell (FQAC), successfully conducted the 3rd workshop titled “Discussion on Programme and Course / Module Design and Development – Criterion 03,” on 23rd September 2026 at the Boardroom of the Faculty.

The session was facilitated by Prof. N. Rajeshwaran, Professor in Accounting and Finance, Department of Accounting and Finance, Faculty of Commerce and Management, Eastern University, Sri Lanka. The workshop focused on strengthening the preparation of the Self-Evaluation Report (SER), with special attention to Criterion 03, which addresses programme and course/module design and development.

The discussion provided valuable insights into aligning programme and course/module design practices with quality assurance standards, strengthening documentation processes, and enhancing effective programme management within the Faculty. Participants actively engaged in the session, sharing experiences and discussing key aspects of programme and course/module development.

This workshop marks an important step towards fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement within the Faculty and ensuring compliance with national quality assurance requirements.
